Statistical hypothesis and hypothesis testing, mathematics vs hypothesis

Hypothesis may not exactly follow the mathematical rule. Hypothesis is a statement about something that may be true or false. That may be accepted or rejected. If your friend who is known as a young mathemetician, stated a mathematical formula. This statement or claim is termed as statistical hypothesis. Hypothesis are claasified into two group. Null hypothesis and alternative hypothesis. If the statement is true and acceptable, hypothesis is called null hypothesis. On the otherhand if the statement is false and rejected, hypothesis is called alternative hypothesis.
